Rear-Ended on a Houston Freeway? Get Checked

Hit from behind in traffic? Injury Centers of Texas treats you now, at two Houston clinics. The insurance company pays later, not you.

You were in stop-and-go traffic on US-59, I-45, the 610 Loop or Beltway 8 when someone hit you from behind. You drove away feeling okay, or just stiff. Now your neck or back hurts, and the other driver's insurance company keeps calling.

What to do first this week

  1. Badly hurt? Call 911 first. We are not an emergency room.
  2. Get checked, even if you felt fine at the scene. Neck or back pain that shows up days later is normal.
  3. Write down the date, the freeway and exit, what hurt right away and what hurts now.
  4. Keep your claim number. Write down who calls from an insurance company, the date and what was said.
  5. Before you sign anything, talk to your attorney. We are a clinic and can't give legal advice.
  6. Call (832) 801-5099 and we set up your first visit.

What happens at your first visit

  1. Call us first

Call (832) 801-5099. One number serves both clinics, and calling costs nothing. We answer in English and Spanish.

  2. Come in, no insurance card needed

Come to either clinic during open hours. No health insurance? You don't need it.

  3. Tell us where it hurts

Tell us about the wreck and what hurts now. Neck or back pain that showed up days later? That's normal.

  4. Start your care

Care here can include physical therapy, long-term pain help and red light therapy.

Who pays after a rear-end wreck?

We treat you now. The insurance company pays later, not you.

No health insurance? You don't need it.
